OZ Landscaping has an opening for an experienced individual interested in continuing a career, or long-term employment opportunity with room for growth and promotions in the landscaping and snow removal industry. OZ Landscaping works in all areas of the industry. Currently, we are looking for a polished grounds maintenance crew lead and team member.

Training will be provided. Tasks include Spring and Fall clean-ups, Ground Maintenance & Snow Removal. Tasks may also include landscape construction and customer service. The individual will be in constant contact with machines such as ride-on and push lawn mowers, trimmers, backpack blowers, hedge trimmers, hand tools, snow sweepers, plow trucks, bobcats and truck and trailer assemblies.

Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

- Leading the ground maintenance crew (grass cutting, hedge trimming, edging)
- Driving truck and trailers
- Taking responsibility for the quality of crew performance
- Following OZ Landscaping's safety policies and procedures
- Showing up on time every day, punctual, follows instructions, setting an example
- MUST hold themselves with integrity
- Displaying leadership skills
- Maintaining a positive attitude and providing exceptional customer service
- Dedicated and hardworking

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

- Has the ability to work in all outdoor weather conditions, hot and cold temperatures
- Repetitive tasks




- Ability to handle physically demanding day to day operations
- Frequent standing, lifting 50 lbs, walking and crouching
- 8 – 10 hours shifts 5 days a week during summer
- On call with salary during the winter months, working all hours of the day and night

Attributes to be considered as a successful applicant includes:

- MUST HAVE Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Must comply with criminal background check
- Ability to perform physical tasks with little supervision
- Has a willingness to learn, work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills - Basic English is necessary
- Always following OZ Landscaping's Safety Policies and Procedures
- 1 year of ground maintenance and snow removal experience is an asset
- Must own a vehicle to get to and from the shop
- Willing to purchase uniform

OZ Landscaping offers competitive wages, and guaranteed hours during the winter months. Minimum starting wage is $19/hr, negotiable based on skill set and experience. Uniforms are required to be worn on all sites.
