Join Coast Mental Health as a Social Worker delivering essential services in Vancouver. This role emphasizes trauma-informed care, assisting individuals with mental health and addiction challenges. In this position, you will work under the guidance of the Program Manager, focusing on recovery-oriented care and program planning for supportive housing.
You will execute psychoeducational groups and provide individualized therapy utilizing evidence-based modalities such as CBT and DBT. Collaboration with a diverse team ensures effective case management and enhanced client service. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide trauma-informed support to residents in need
- Plan and implement recovery-oriented programming and goals
- Conduct therapeutic groups and individual client sessions
- Make referrals to community resources and housing services
- Measure and report on client progress consistently Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from accredited institution
- Active BC College of Social Workers registration
- Three years of relevant experience required
- Valid First Aid certification needed
