About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise / Solution Architect with deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials to play a key role in a large-scale ERP transformation initiative. The ideal candidate has successfully led solution architecture for multiple end-to-end Oracle Fusion implementations and possesses strong finance process knowledge combined with hands-on implementation experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Review solution designs and architectural decisions with Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and IT stakeholders to identify downstream impacts before approval.
- Participate in design review sessions, challenging unnecessary customizations and recommending standard Oracle Fusion capabilities to minimize technical debt.
- Collaborate with business, security, and technical teams to ensure proposed solutions align with business requirements, controls, security standards, and enterprise architecture principles.
- Document and review solution architecture to ensure scalability, maintainability,
supportability, and effective knowledge transfer to internal teams.
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions between business stakeholders and System Integrator (SI) teams to maintain alignment between business objectives and Oracle Fusion capabilities.
- Track open design decisions, identify risks or gaps, and escalate issues through the appropriate governance channels when required.
- Provide architectural leadership and guidance throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
Must-Haves
- 7+ years of Architect-level expertise.
- Proven track record delivering 2+ large-scale end-to-end Oracle Fusion Financials implementations.
- Extensive experience with Oracle Fusion Financials, including ownership of solution architecture for at least two large, recent end-to-end Oracle Fusion implementations.
- Minimum 5 years of recent experience working with Finance business processes and translating business requirements into Oracle Fusion Financials solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and/or related Oracle integration technologies.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion data migration, data upload, reporting, and analytics tools.
- Proven ability to independently assess, review, and challenge System Integrator (SI) solution designs.
- Hands-on Oracle Fusion implementation experience, including configuration and solution build activities.
- Candidates must have directly worked within Oracle Fusion implementation projects and not solely integrated external applications with Fusion.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Ability to work effectively across business, functional, and technical teams while making sound architectural decisions.
- Experience supporting ERP transformation initiatives within a not-for-profit environment.
- Experience with Unit4 Business World or other legacy ERP modernization programs.
- Familiarity with complex enterprise ecosystems including:
