Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Developer III to join a collaborative and agile team supporting operational processes through application development and automation.

The successful candidate will develop and maintain solutions, automate manual processes, and build tools that improve operational efficiency. This role requires strong hands-on development experience across VBA, Microsoft Excel/Access, SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and APIs .

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, enhance, and maintain applications and automation solutions supporting operational teams.
- Automate manual and repetitive business processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop front-end functionality using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript .
- Build and maintain backend solutions using VBA .
- Develop and optimize SQL Server queries and stored procedures .
- Create and maintain automation solutions using Microsoft Excel, Excel Macros, and Microsoft Access .
- Integrate applications and tools using APIs and API methods .
- Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) , including development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Conduct code reviews, ensure development standards, and best practices are followed.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Demonstrate completed solutions and clearly communicate functionality to stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing application support as required.




- Work within an Agile environment and contribute to team planning and delivery activities.

Must-Have Qualifications

- 5+ years of hands-on software development and SDLC experience.
- Strong experience with VBA / Visual Basic for Applications .
- Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript .
- Strong SQL Server experience, including query optimization and stored procedures.
- Experience developing Microsoft Excel Macros and Microsoft Access solutions.
- Experience working with APIs and API integration methods .
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation and demonstration skills.
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence .
- Experience conducting code reviews.
- Banking or financial services experience.
- Lean Six Sigma certification or experience.

Soft Skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
