Sell commercial insurance policies and drive new business growth for your book
Develop and maintain a prospect list and execute sales planning/business development activities
Build and maintain robust customer relationships, including visiting customer sites
Prepare proposals and coordinate account placement with insurers, leveraging broad market access and internal specialty resources
Keep abreast of market knowledge, products, pricing issues, and placement opportunities
Gather and document relevant information to ensure customers receive appropriate coverage and service
Maintain book quality by adhering to underwriting rules and sound business practices
Arrange payment terms for new business and support timely collection of payments
Support customers through the claims process with claims advocacy support when needed
Travel in and out of town as required
Requirements High school and/or post-secondary education
Valid Ontario Driver’s License
RIBO License (required)
CIP, FCIP, CAIB and/or CCIB (preferred)
Exposure to Epic (asset)
Minimum 5 years of commercial insurance sales experience
Excellent customer service and sales skills
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in commercial insurance sales, customer relationship management, and claims advocacy. Proficient in developing sales strategies and maintaining compliance with underwriting rules.
