Pay or shift range: $69,000 CAD to $91,000 CAD
The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
Description Key Responsibilities
Provide trauma-informed, client-centred case management and crisis intervention to women experiencing violence and housing instability.
Develop and implement individualized service, safety, and housing plans in collaboration with clients and internal team members.
Support clients in obtaining and maintaining safe, stable housing through advocacy, housing stabilization, and tenancy support.
Assist clients with applications for housing, financial assistance, government benefits, and other community resources.
Deliver life skills, budgeting, and financial literacy support to promote long-term housing stability and independence.
Collaborate with landlords, housing providers, and community agencies to coordinate services and advocate on behalf of clients.
Make referrals to internal and external community resources to address clients' social, legal, financial, and housing needs.
Maintain accurate, timely client documentation, case notes, and required program records in accordance with agency and legislative requirements.
Represent JF&CS; professionally while building collaborative relationships with community partners and participating in program evaluation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring:
Bachelor of Social Work
Minimum 3 years’ of experience in supporting women experiencing violence and/or housing instability
Member of OCSWSSW in good standing
Knowledge of community housing resources and government income support programs
Experience in crisis intervention, case management and housing support services.
Fluency in Russian, Hebrew or another language reflecting the local community will be considered an asset
