Our RVTs are essential members of the medical team and are encouraged to work to the full scope of their profession. You'll be involved in every aspect of patient care, including:

Anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance

Dentistry and dental radiography

Laboratory diagnostics and digital imaging

Patient nursing care and treatment administration

Client communication and education

Assisting with a wide variety of medical and surgical procedures

As a mixed animal practice, we care for companion animals, horses, and livestock, creating a diverse and rewarding caseload.



If your passion is companion animal medicine, this role can be tailored to focus primarily in that area.

One of the things that makes practicing in the East Kootenays unique is the chance to see an incredible variety of cases. Without a nearby referral hospital, our veterinary teams regularly manage complex medical, surgical, and emergency cases locally, providing outstanding opportunities to expand your skills and experience.
