Sea to Sky Gondola

Squamish

Full-time, Permanent

Start Date: ASAP

Hours Per Week: 30 – 40 (guest visit and weather dependant)

Wage: $65,000 per year + gratuities The Sous Chef is a key member of the culinary leadership team at Sea to Sky Gondola. Reporting to the Head Chef and working closely with the Executive Chef, this role provides hands-on leadership across all food service operations, including restaurant service, catering and events, production kitchens, and seasonal outlets.

This role is designed for versatile culinary leaders who thrive in dynamic environments and are capable of leading teams across multiple business units. While each Sous Chef may have primary operational responsibilities, all members of the leadership team are expected to support the broader operation and confidently lead catering events, production shifts, and restaurant service as business demands require.

Rather than managing a single outlet, our Sous Chefs are developed as well-rounded culinary leaders who gain exposure to:

- High-volume restaurant operations
- Weddings and catered events
- Production and commissary kitchen management
- Menu execution across multiple concepts
- Team leadership and development
- Seasonal business and special event operations

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated chef looking to advance into a future Head Chef or Executive Chef role.
