We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Tagalog-speaking caregiver to provide exceptional support to seniors and individuals with disabilities in the South Edmonton area. Responsibilities

- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure comfort and dignity.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive environment for clients.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary.
- Administer medications accurately according to prescribed schedules and document all medication activities diligently.
- Support clients with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment.
- Monitor health status, report changes promptly to healthcare professionals, and assist with basic nursing tasks as required.




- Assist with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring safety for both clients and caregivers.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in assisted living, home care, nursing home settings, or senior care environments.
- Strong background in patient care, dementia care, hospice care or working with individuals with disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills in Tagalog; fluency is essential for effective interaction with clients and their families.
- Knowledge of medication administration, meal preparation, and basic nursing procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks with professionalism.
- Compassionate nature combined with patience, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Relevant certifications such as caregiving training or first aid are preferred but not mandatory.
