British Columbia

We’re a team that puts customers first, invests in our people, and takes pride in being part of the local community. If you’re a hard-working, detail-oriented team player who takes pride in a job well done – we’d love to meet you.

What’s in it for You

Real opportunities to grow and advance within the company

Hands-on learning and development opportunities

Employee discount on retail products after the first three months

Employee and Family Assistance Program to support your well-being and that of your family

A team culture built on three core values: Customers First, Inspired People, and Community Connection

About the Role
As a Freight Associate, you’ll be one of the key people who keeps our store looking great and our shelves stocked and ready for customers. You’ll be responsible for receiving and replenishing freight, organizing the sales floor, and making sure every aisle is clean, safe, and easy to shop.

This is a physically active role that requires a good eye for detail, the ability to work efficiently and independently, and a team-first attitude. You’ll work closely with your freight teammates and other store departments to make sure products are stocked accurately and the store is always ready for the next day.

What You’ll Be Doing

Receiving, sorting, and staging incoming freight and moving it safely from designated staging areas to the sales floor and overstock areas using appropriate equipment

Stocking merchandise onto shelves accurately to achieve a 100% in-stock position for customers

Down-stocking from overstock and replenishing shelves from new freight

Inspecting stock items for wear, defects, or damage and reporting any issues to a supervisor

Rotating products that have expiry dates to ensure older stock is sold first

Maintaining aisle cleanliness and shopability – minimizing freight intrusion while working and leaving aisles clean and safe when done

Ensuring electronic shelf labels (ESLs) are accurate, properly displayed, and flagging any discrepancies for correction

Communicating with teammates to ensure all products are stocked accurately on shelves and in overstock areas

Always working in compliance with WorkSafeBC Standards

What We’re Looking For
Here’s what will set you up for success in this role:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and perform physical tasks throughout your shift

A self-motivated, task-driven work style – you work quickly and accurately without needing to be told what to do next

Detail oriented with a strong eye for accuracy in stocking, labelling, and product placement

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Strong commitment to secure work practices and keeping the store environment hazard-free

Good problem-solving and decision-making skills – you can think on your feet when things don’t go as planned

Basic computer skills are an asset; training on our systems (including the ESL platform) will be provided

Experience with lift equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is an asset
