This role involves applying established processes to create solutions that meet technical and operational requirements.Key DutiesWhen required, serve as Work Package Manager, leading teams of 1 to 5 designersSupport project planning, timeline management, and budget tracking to ensure successful deliveryMonitor progress across assigned project tasks, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standardsDeliver project outputs accurately and on timeDevelop accurate, justifiable estimates for current and emerging technologiesDemonstrate familiarity with company work instructions and internal processesDemonstrate a solid understanding of SelTrac signal plans and radio equipmentPossess in-depth knowledge of railway infrastructure,



including deployment of trackside and equipment room assets in both greenfield and brownfield projectsApply advanced logical reasoning to develop effective hardware application designs and processesInterpret and author requirement documents that ensure traceability from high-level customer designs down to detailed design elementsProduce detailed technical design specifications, scopes of work (SoWs), and requests for proposals (RFQs)Work in compliance with relevant standards such as CENELEC and AREMAPrepare specifications for hardware and software componentsUtilize CAD tools (MicroStation, AutoCAD) and other development software proficientlyMust HavesPost-secondary diploma in technology or degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering7-10 years of relevant industry experienceProficient in CAD tools (MicroStation, AutoCAD), SAP Bills of Materials, configuration management, change control processes, and Microsoft Office applicationsStrong interpersonal and diplomatic skills to engage effectively across all organizational levels and with clientsExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishNote that this is an office-based role with occasional travel to sites, vendors, training, and conferences—both domestic and international.
