Our digital life brokerage, Scoop Financial, is looking to grow. This is a great opportunity to be hands-on in transforming business operations in a fast-paced organization. The ideal candidate has 1-4 years of experience in life insurance, including a current license in Ontario and other provinces. They will also have the desire to drive sales organically through digital channels. As a Life Insurance Broker, you’ll work with qualified leads to identify each customer’s insurance requirements and deliver the best solution for their needs. As a digital home and auto brokerage that works with over 130,000 Canadians, we know that many of them also have life insurance needs. That’s where you come in! You bring strong attention to detail while consistently delivering a high level of professional customer service. You are driven by success, thrive on meeting or exceeding goals and enjoy being rewarded for your hard work. You excel in a fast-paced environment and are committed to ensuring that your customers’ needs are met in a timely and effective manner. This role will be hybrid, working out of our Toronto (or Welland), ON location.

1-4 years of experience in insurance, preferably life insurance





Experience in managing a high-volume pipeline

Great Computer Skills navigating multiple screens and platforms with a proficiency in Outlook, Excel and Word

Key Accountabilities
Responsibilities of the Insurance Broker will include but not limited to:

Meet or exceed monthly sales goals

Manage the sales cycle from end-to-end

Provide advice and quotes which ensure the most appropriate product is offered

Assess risks, calculate premiums, bind coverage and prepare documentation

Maintain knowledge of current underwriting rules, product features and other industry changes

Deliver a high level of friendly, professional service

Work in a team, collaborating with various stakeholders

Complete administrative duties as required, ensuring complete and adequate documentation for all customer policies and files

Service policies when needed

Be active in continuous process optimization

Positively Interact with industry partners and internal stakeholders
