This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing HR team during a period of operational growth and continuous improvement. The successful incumbent will play a key role in full-cycle recruitment, systems investigations and enhancements, audit reviews, and process improvement initiatives in partnership with HR Shared Services. You will work collaboratively with the recruitment team, organizational clients, and HR leadership to develop, implement and monitor service standards and streamlined processes to support exceptional client service.

Title: Recruitment and Standards Specialist

Salary: $76,530 - $95,662- $105,229 per year (pay range explained below)

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 8:30 am-4:30pm Mon- Fri (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)

Location: Anywhere in BC – (Hybrid – minimum 50% in the offices)

Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway in Spring 2027 if successful candidate is in the Metro Vancouver area.

About The Role

As Recruitment and Standards Specialist, you will provide specialized level full cycle recruiting that aligns with organizational and operational goals and objectives; and develops, updates and oversees FNHA’s standards for recruiting. You will work collaboratively with department managers on their strategic and proactive recruitment needs. Additionally,



you will identify and match open and hard-to-fill positions with ideal candidates; and apply advanced recruiting strategies and techniques to proactively source, engage and evaluate potential candidates and fill positions.

The Recruitment & Standards Specialist plays a central role in building and developing our systems & standards and implementing new processes, procedures, and technological updates. You will act as a talent scout by being actively engaged in the external labour market, engaging individuals to consider working at FNHA.

About You To be successful in this role you will have –

Education

- The requirements for this position would typically be acquired through a degree related to human resources, plus 5 to 7 years of progressively responsible experience in full life cycle recruitment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Membership to the Skilled Recruiter Accreditation Program (APRC) or Canadian Human Resources Professional Association (CHRP) would be an asset.
- Staffing agency or executive search experience would be an asset.
- Proven success working in a high volume, fast paced work environment.

Knowledge &

Competencies

- Demonstrated experience in full cycle recruitment, including proactive candidate sourcing
- Demonstrated success with relationship building across all levels within an organization, and with candidates
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers, while gaining insight into the operations and needs of the organization
- Highly proficient in the use of various proven interviewing techniques such as behavioural interviewing
- Advanced and senior level knowledge of the concepts, practices, methods and techniques pertaining to the human resources field, with emphasis on recruitment and recruitment standards




- Knowledge of candidate sourcing tools and networking and cold-calling techniques
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM is considered a strong asset

The Pay

Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.

Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.

The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
