Vipond | Fire-Tech is one of the largest third-party suppliers of Fire Alarm, Sprinkler Systems, Fire Suppression, and other life safety systems in Newfoundland and Labrador. We are seeking an experienced sprinkler designer/estimator to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, estimating, and project managing a variety of sprinkler systems including commercial, residential, industrial, and healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review drawings/specifications and prepare sprinkler system quotes for building owners, contractors, and tender opportunities.
- Design a variety of sprinkler systems in accordance with all applicable NFPA and local codes and standards.
- Completing hydraulic calculations.
- Modify and update existing sprinkler system drawings.
- Securing purchase orders/contracts.
- Prepare all contract specific documents.
- Conducting site visits for new and existing opportunities.
- Organize, order and procure material.
- Liaise between field and management for monthly project review.
- Work within AutoCAD, HydraCAD, Revit and the complete Microsoft 365 suite.




- Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Post-secondary education in Fire Protection estimating and design or equivalent.
- 3-5 years experience with design, estimating, and project Management experience in Fire Protection.
- Knowledge of design layout, hydraulic calculations, and project management.
- Working expertise of AutoCAD, Revit, and hydraulic calculations.
- Experience with HydraCAD is an asset.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
- Excellent communication abilities with both internal teams and external clients.
- Proficiency with computer systems required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
