Transform lives as a part time Program Staff with BGC Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton & Area. Provide meaningful recreational and educational engagement for children aged 6 to 17.
This temporary role is focused on building and maintaining positive relationships through activities that address the unique needs of each youth. You'll be tasked with planning programs, supervising participants, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Your expertise in managing groups will elevate their experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement engaging afterschool programs
• Provide direct supervision and behavior management
• Understand and respond to individual and group needs
• Keep accurate documentation and reports
• Adhere to health and safety cleaning protocols
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with youth in groups
• Active pursuit of a human services-related degree
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle access
• Recent Police Information Check required
