About VelvetMoo

VelvetMoo is a unique café and gelateria specializing in premium products crafted with fresh Jersey A2 milk. From freshly churned gelato and signature milk drinks to coffee, matcha, desserts, and food, we focus on creating a memorable experience for every guest.

We are looking for friendly, energetic, and reliable Store Associates to join our growing team.

What You'll Do

As a Store Associate, you will work across different areas of the store and help deliver an exceptional VelvetMoo experience.

Your responsibilities will include

- Greeting customers and providing friendly, attentive service
- Taking customer orders and accurately operating the POS system
- Preparing and serving gelato, milkshakes, coffee, matcha, specialty drinks, desserts, and food items
- Learning the VelvetMoo menu and confidently explaining products to customers
- Following recipes, portion sizes, presentation standards, and preparation procedures
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the store
- Cleaning and sanitizing counters, equipment, tables, service areas, and other workspaces
- Restocking ingredients, packaging, cups, and other supplies throughout the shift
- Assisting with opening and closing duties
- Following food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures




- Working efficiently during busy periods while maintaining quality and customer service
- Supporting teammates and completing assigned daily tasks
- Helping create a welcoming, positive, and professional environment for every guest

What We're Looking For

- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to multitask and stay organized
- Willing to learn different stations and responsibilities
- Strong attention to cleanliness and presentation
- Able to stand for extended periods during a shift
- Previous café, restaurant, retail, or customer-service experience is an asset, but not required — training will be provided

Availability We are looking for candidates with versatile availability.

Weekend availability is required, and candidates should be available for a combination of daytime and evening shifts.
