Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our seafood retail store, including wholesale and online sales. The ideal candidate will ensure high standards of product quality, food safety, and customer service, while leading a team and driving sales performance. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and experience in handling perishable goods in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee all daily store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, food safety, and sanitation standards
- Manage inventory of fresh and frozen seafood, including ordering, receiving, pricing, and minimizing waste
- Monitor product quality and freshness to maintain the highest standards
- Lead, train, and supervise staff to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency
- Manage and grow retail, wholesale, and online sales channels
- Build and maintain relationships with wholesale clients (restaurants, distributors, etc.)
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets
- Ensure proper merchandising and attractive product displays to enhance the customer experience
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Prepare reports on sales, inventory levels, and business performance
- Coordinate logistics, deliveries,



and supplier relationships
- Develop, implement, and manage the customer membership program, including enrollment, promotions, retention, and member communications

Qualifications

- Proven experience in retail or food industry management (seafood experience preferred)
- Knowledge of seafood products, handling, and storage is a strong asset
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with inventory management, purchasing, and cost control
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Experience in wholesale and/or e-commerce operations is an asset
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and early mornings
- Experience with customer membership/loyalty programs or CRM systems is preferred

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
