Position Summary The incumbent is responsible for setting up dies and steel coils, making technical adjustments, and operating high-tonnage hydraulic and mechanical presses and their auxiliary equipment to produce components in various types of steel. Main Responsibilities and Duties Set up dies, steel coils, and steel sheets in compliance with applicable occupational health and safety standards;

Inspect the proper operation of removable equipment, including uncoilers and shears, as well as the various safety systems;

Follow procedures using reference documents, including technical diagrams, work instructions, and control plans;

Make the required technical adjustments, including hydraulic pressure settings, hydraulic and pneumatic uncoilers,



and automated transfer systems, according to current production requirements;

Inspect components in accordance with established quality standards;

Perform any other related duties.

Required Skills Solid organizational skills and ability to work independently;

Good manual dexterity;

Attention to detail and accuracy;

Ability to perform precise calculations and read measurements using a tape measure (successful completion of the qualification tests required for a Press Operator position).
