POSITION: Part-Time Stock Associate

Location: Oakville Snuggle Bugz – 2160 South Service Rd. West, Oakville, Ontario

Report to: Store Manager

Hours: 15-25 hours per week

Currently, we are missing a critical link (aka YOU) and seeking a candidate armed with passion and the ability to provide support in our Retail Store. The successful candidate will be organized, customerfocused,and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail and warehouse setting. You’ll play a key role in delivering a seamless experience for our friends—both in-store and online—by providing exceptional service with speed, accuracy, and a high level of precision. This position requires a sense of urgency, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted and up to 200 lbs assisted. Must be available Thursday-Sunday, including evenings.

REQUIREMENTS

- Good organization and time management skills
- Hard working with a desire to see a job done to completion
- Ability to lift heavy objects – up to 75 lbs (independently) and up to 200lbs (assisted)
- Comfortable working in both retail and warehouse environments
- Customer-focused with a friendly and approachable attitude
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is an asset
- Forklift certification or willingness to become certified
- Must be available, Thursday – Sunday (including evenings)

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Pulling/picking inventory from Warehouse locations for orders and store transfers
- Ability to pick and pull furniture orders as required, including safely lifting and moving products from warehouse locations.
- Must be capable of handling heavy items, with some pieces and boxes exceeding 200 lbs,



and assisting with loading purchases into customers’ vehicles
- Running BOPIS (Buy Online, Pick Up In Store) orders efficiently and accurately
- Pick and pack items for customer orders
- Comfortable using ERP and retail software (such as Shopify) to support order processing, inventory lookups, and daily tasks
- Ensure orders are accurate and ready within expected timelines
- Proficient with computer tasks, including answering phones, navigating systems, and supporting order fulfillment while maintaining a high level of customer service
- Ability to identify and communicate inventory discrepancies to leadership, supporting timely resolution while maintaining focus on order fulfillment and customer assistance
- Maintaining a safe and clean work setting by keeping shelves, stockrooms, and workstations organized
- Supporting both the sales floor as needed by helping carry or move items when needed
- Providing a positive, customer-facing experience—being pleasant, helpful, and approachable
- Communicating and cooperating with supervisors and coworkers
- Other duties as assigned
