We are seeking a skilled installer to join our growing team. We specialize in high-end residential installations of tile, stone veneer, porcelain slab, and microcement. Our work is performed on some of the finest homes in Winnipeg and the surrounding areas. We maintain longstanding relationships with many of Manitoba’s most respected builders. We are looking for an installer who demonstrates an exceptionally high level of detail and a strong commitment to excellence.

For this position, we are seeking somebody who is specialized in stone veneer installation and who is also willing to assist in our tile installations, although tile experience is not required.

Responsibilities

- Install stone veneers, including thin-brick, grouted natural and manufactured veneers, panelled stack stone and hearth stones
- Work will primarily be performed on interior fireplace and feature wall applications. We work with one of the premier fireplace and hearth shops in Winnipeg and have steady work installing fireplace facades year round. Occasional outdoor work, but majority is indoor.
- Prepare fireplaces for veneer installs, including install of lathe and scratch coats.
- Assist on tile installations on days when fireplace work is not available. On the job training would be provided for tile related work, no experience required, only a willingness to learn recent skills.

Requirements

- Proven experience in stone veneer installation (proficiency must be demonstrated)




- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence for commuting to job sites
- Basic hand tools tools (tape measure, trowels, hammer, etc.); larger tools such as wet saws, and power tools are provided by the company
- Strong reliability, clear communication skills, and outstanding attention to detail
- Ability to maintain a clean and tidy work workplace

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with brick and stone veneer installation
- Experience with tile installation is a considered an asset
- Experience with microcement, plaster, taping, acrylic stucco, or other technical trowel-based techniques is considered an asset

Compensation & Benefits
