The RN is responsible for promoting and restoring patient health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and team members, and providing physical and psychological support to patients and their families. The RN demonstrates the core values of the organization – compassion, integrity, and unity – and practices within the boundaries of the Kansas Nurse Practice Act, specialty standards, and organizational policies and procedures.Responsibilities And Essential Job FunctionsConsistently meets work schedule.Demonstrates critical thinking utilizing all aspects of the nursing process.Maintains a safe environment for patients.Coordinates health care services with hospital, vendors, physician offices, and other institutions.Answers patient/significant others phone calls, evaluates patient's needs, and triages patient care.Provides patient/family education using available resources.Acts as liaison between patient, significant others, and health team members.Identifies areas for skilled growth.Participates fully as a member of the Patient Centered Medical Home Team.Performs the professional, clinical,
