Job Description Summary This position is responsible to ensure that customer’s on-site dental equipment is operating properly. Work mainly focuses on troubleshooting and repairing of equipment, as well as supporting the installation of equipment and the sales of maintenance contracts.

Job Description DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain a high level of client service by:

Responding promptly to service requests

Following through on commitments to customers and internal colleagues

Listening to customer issues

Communicating client service information with the Sales Representatives and the Service Coordinators

Completing work orders

Maintaining appropriate tools, supplies and parts within vehicle

Maintain client equipment by:

Documenting equipment issues and completed repairs





Diagnosing equipment issues and arranging for required parts, supplies or toolsCommunicating equipment issues and recommended repairs to the customers

Adjusting, repairing or calibrating equipment based on manufacturer’s specifications

Following through on maintenance contracts

Supports new equipment installations by:

Providing follow up support within committed timelines

Verifying equipment is set to manufacturer’s specifications

Selling maintenance contracts

Maintain a safe and respectful environment by:

Reporting incidents, injuries or near misses

Conducting oneself in accordance with Sinclair’s policies

Participating in ongoing educational programs

Qualification & Skill Requirements

Dental Equipment Manufacturer certification training a huge asset

Certification, Diploma or Degree in mechanical, electrical, small machine repair etc. is an asset

Minimum of 3 years’ experience repairing equipment

Experience in mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic and/or plumbing

Skills

Excellent customer service skills

Aptitude for problem solving

Able to prioritize and organize work schedule with limited supervision

Robust verbal and written communication skills

Position Specific Requirements

Daily travel between dentists’ offices throughout the territory

Valid Canadian or equivalent driver’s license and a good driving record





Available to work evening and weekends to support emergency call outs

Periodically required to travel overnight to provide support to clients

Able to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs.)

Manual dexterity to operate hand and small power tools

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$50,600.00 - $76,000.00 Annual
