We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Structured Cable Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining structured cabling systems that support computer networking, telecommunication, and electrical infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure reliable connectivity and optimal performance for a variety of client environments.

Responsibilities

- Install, terminate, and test Ethernet cables, fiber optics, and other low-voltage wiring in commercial and industrial settings
- Configure and troubleshoot network hardware such as Cisco routers and switches to ensure proper connectivity
- Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to mount racks, patch panels, and cable trays accurately
- Conduct inspections of cabling infrastructure to identify issues and perform repairs or upgrades as needed
- Assist with telecommunication system installations including telephony setups and related electrical components
- Maintain detailed documentation of cabling layouts, test results,



and system configurations for project records
- Follow safety protocols and industry standards to ensure secure and compliant installations

Requirements

- Proven experience with Ethernet cabling, computer networking, and telecommunication systems (Commercial Experience Required)
- Robust mechanical aptitude with familiarity using hand tools for cable termination and installation tasks
- Knowledge of low voltage wiring practices and electrical safety procedures
- Experience working with Cisco routers, switches, or similar network hardware is highly desirable
- Basic understanding of telephony systems and electrical components involved in communication infrastructure
- Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting network issues

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
