We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager – Structures to lead a team responsible for advanced aircraft structures design and integration. The role will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and cross-functional leadership to deliver aircraft programs successfully.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of aerospace/structures engineers.
- Manage engineering priorities, SOWs, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
- Lead multidisciplinary aircraft structures design and integration activities.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams, suppliers, and platform leaders.
- Support MRB, production, and in-service engineering activities.
- Establish and maintain engineering governance and management processes.
- Drive Lessons Learned and Best Project Practices.
- Develop employees through technical and leadership coaching.
- Communicate technical and business decisions to senior management.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Aerospace Engineering preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in aerospace engineering.
- 3+ years of supervisory or people-management experience.
- Robust experience with aircraft structures design and manufacturing.
- Knowledge of aerospace design tools and MRB processes.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Fluent in English and French.
