Job Title: Investment Management Subject Matter Expert (Microsoft Dynamics)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Investment Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics to lead the design, delivery, and implementation of tailored enterprise solutions. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex investment management business processes and Microsoft Dynamics technologies, ensuring our solutions drive operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Solution Architecture & Design: Lead end-to-end functional and technical architecture for Microsoft Dynamics solutions tailored to investment management workflows (portfolio management, client onboarding, risk & reporting, capital markets).
- Implementation Leadership: Guide cross-functional teams through full lifecycle implementations—from requirement gathering and gap analysis to configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Domain Advisory: Serve as the primary SME on investment management industry best practices, market trends, and regulatory frameworks, translating complex financial needs into scalable Dynamics features.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with executive leadership, portfolio managers, operations teams, and IT stakeholders to align solution capabilities with overarching business objectives.
- Integration & Customization:



Direct integration strategies between Microsoft Dynamics and core financial platforms, market data feeds (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv), and accounting systems.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience designing, delivering, and implementing Microsoft Dynamics solutions (Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, CRM/Customer Engagement, or Power Platform) specifically within the Investment Management, Asset Management, or Private Equity sector.
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of investment management concepts, including portfolio accounting, fund administration, trade lifecycle, investor relations, and regulatory compliance.
- Technical Proficiency: Proven track record with Microsoft Dynamics customization, data migration, workflow automation, and system integrations.
- Consulting & Communication: Outstanding client-facing skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical financial stakeholders.
- Location: Based in Ontario, Canada, with willingness to work in a hybrid mode (office/client site + remote).

Preferred Qualifications

- Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management / Finance Functional Consultant, Power Platform Solution Architect).
- Relevant financial industry certifications (e.g., CFA charterholder or candidate, CAIA, FRM).
- Experience with Power BI for investment analytics and custom dashboarding.
