Summary

The Web/Multimedia Programmer supports the development of training programs and courseware using established Instructional Systems Design (ISD) processes. This role produces interactive graphics, multimedia elements, animations, and web-based content for aviation training courseware and related design assignments. The Web/Multimedia Programmer collaborates closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure instructional materials are accurate, engaging, and instructionally sound. Responsibilities include developing course materials, conducting training needs assessments, maintaining traceability of courseware updates, supporting proposal efforts, and ensuring ISD compliance across extensive curricula. This position requires strong multimedia development capabilities, technical skill, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under strict timelines.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate with management to prioritize ISD tasks and training material development needs. Assign tasks to technical representatives in alignment with project milestones and departmental priorities. Coordinate with Configuration and Data Management (C&DM;) to ensure traceability of courseware updates from contract startup through program completion. Develop program-specific procedures and work methods supporting ISD processes. Establish and update processes for instructional design across comprehensive curriculum programs. Coordinate with FTU leads and Mobility (MOB) points of contact to schedule SMEs for reviews and updates. Develop and update Master Task Lists (MTLs), Master Training Task Lists (MTTLs), learning objective hierarchies, media reports, and course syllabi. Develop and review course materials including instructional methods, objectives, scenarios, case studies, and assessment tools. Support proposal activities by ensuring all ISD requirements meet customer specifications. Maintain documentation traceability for all baseline and modified ISD products. Perform ISD tasks in accordance with company policies, procedures, and work instructions. Develop, prioritize, and manage ISD deliverables related to budget, schedule, and scope.



Conduct peer reviews to ensure courseware and multimedia meet established quality standards. Consult with customers to support performance improvement strategies and instructional approaches. Coordinate with TSSC management to confirm that instructional methods, sequencing, and design practices are followed. Use industry-standard software applications to format and prepare technical documents and multimedia materials. Mentor team members on courseware design standards, document formatting, and multimedia development practices. Promote a collaborative and positive work environment within the courseware development team. Support teammates to maintain productivity and effective workflow. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, related discipline, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training. Minimum of five years of professional experience in instructional analysis, design, development, delivery, technical writing, or systematic curriculum development. Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role. Preferred Skills

Intermediate proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite for multimedia development. Intermediate proficiency in ActionScript 2/3, HTML, HTML5, and JavaScript. Familiarity with MS Project. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Strong oral presentation skills and ability to present to management and customers. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
