Society of Alberta is looking for Community Support Workers to support older clients at Ridgestone Lodge. You will be assisting individuals aged 55+ who have mental health or complex needs, ensuring they have fulfilling and independent lives.
Key duties include promoting health and wellness while serving a vulnerable population during weekend shifts. Key Responsibilities:
- Teach clients essential daily living skills
- Help clients access community activities and opportunities
- Encourage healthy habits and medication adherence
- Facilitate self-advocacy for clients and their needs
- Maintain timely documentation and participate in meetings Requirements:
- Education in a relevant field and 1-2 years of experience
- Experience with older adults or complex needs beneficial
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Physical strength for client management tasks
