The Surveyor’s main responsibilities will include Completion of various types of surveys including stake outs, topographic surveys, as-built, as well as managing the flow of data from field to office and back. Also Responsible to for drafting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Completion of various types of surveys including stake outs, As Built, and topographic surveys.
- Ensuring implementation company safe work policy and quality assurance
- Communicating scope and schedule information to team members
- Managing the flow of data from field to office and back
- Ensuring project tasks are completed on time and accurate
- Having field notes that are clear, concise and accurate
- Drafting provided work using Autocad and Microsurvey cad
- Other assigned work as required.

Special Requirements:

- Must be self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervision;
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced working environment on multiple projects
- Must have knowledge of survey calculations
- Must knowledge of Microsurvey CAD and Autocad





Qualifications:

- Preferably have a technical diploma in geometics or in survey field. A combination of field experience and education would also be acceptable.
- Excellent writing and communication skills and attention to detail
- Competency with computers, Laser levels, total stations, and GPS
- Willingness to learn recent methods/field software
- Must pass pre-employment test
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract

Working Conditions:

- This position reports out of the Edmonton head office, therefore candidates must live within the greater Edmonton and surrounding area
- Must be willing to travel throughout Edmonton and nearby towns
