We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Systems Analyst to support a federal public sector modernization initiative focused on evaluating and assessing case management technology solutions.

Contract Details:

- Client: Federal Government Department
- Role: Senior Systems Analyst
- Contract Duration: Approx. 7 weeks
- Language Requirement: English
- Security: Reliability level clearance must be in-hand.
- Work Location: Primarily Remote. Candidates must be available to attend occasional onsite meetings and presetnations iwthin the National Capital Region (NCR) as required

Scope of Work:

The successful candidate will lead the development of an options analysis for a modern Case and Investigation Management and Reporting solution. Working closely with business and technical stakeholders, the consultant will evaluate solution alternatives and provide evidence-based recommendations.

Key responsibilities include

- Reviewing and validating existing business requirements.
- Assessing current and future case management needs.
- Conducting market research and evaluating commercially available and government-approved solutions.
- Comparing cloud, on-premises, and hybrid deployment options.
- Developing evaluation frameworks and assessment methodologies.
- Analyzing implementation effort, costs, resource requirements, risks, scalability, maintenance, and security considerations.
- Preparing project plans, stakeholder engagement materials, reports, briefing notes, and presentations.
- Presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Producing a final options analysis report to support future procurement and modernization activities.

Required Experience

- 10+ years of experience working as a Senior Systems Analyst on complex information technology, digital transformation,



or enterprise systems initiatives.
- Experience conducting and delivering at least one formal options analysis for an IT, digital, or business systems project within the last 5 years.
- Solid requirements analysis and documentation skills.
- Experience producing professional reports, recommendations, presentations, and other project deliverables for senior stakeholders.

Additional Experience:

Experience in the following areas will be considered a significant asset:

- Investigative, law enforcement, oversight, compliance, or regulatory case management solutions
- Complaints intake, review, adjudication, and case tracking systems
- Government of Canada business and technology transformation initiatives
- Options analysis, procurement support, and solution evaluation activities
- Case management system modernization projects
- Information and document management integrations (e.g., SharePoint, eDOCS)
- Executive-level reporting, recommendations, and stakeholder presentations
- Accessible documentation and deliverable development
