Salary Range: $63,347 to $116,190 (based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement)
Effective Date: September 1, 2026 until not until later than November 30, 2026 (or return of teacher)

- Knowledge of, and demonstrated application of, the Ministry of Education's current philosophy, teaching practices, and evaluation/assessment/reporting procedures as applied to all areas of this assignment.
- Knowledge of and demonstrated ability to implement teaching practices that align with the Professional Standards for BC Educators.
- demonstrated ability and successful experience in teaching Comparative Civilizations12 and Learning Assistance 9-12 demonstrated high level of use of the French language
- demonstrated outstanding written and oral language skills in French

- demonstrated knowledge and willingness to work cooperatively in planning an integrated approach to teaching languages
- demonstrated willingness to explore and implement concepts from the new curriculum including awareness of and experience working with the First Peoples Principles of Learning

- demonstrated ability to devise and use a variety of assessment processes, including competency based assessments, that effectively allow students to demonstrate their learning

- demonstrated experience in and knowledge of methods for evaluating and selecting instructional materials suitable for students with a variety of learning abilities and implementing strategies for adapting curriculum
