Role Description The Talk Show Host or Co-host & Writer will lead and participate in live and recorded talk show segments, driving engaging conversations on sports and entertainment topics. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing show outlines, researching relevant stories, writing scripts and segment notes, and conducting interviews with guests and contributors.

The role involves collaborating with producers and other on-air talent, promoting shows across social media platforms, and adapting content for audio and video formats.



This is a full-time remote role that requires reliable availability for scheduled shows, meetings, and occasional special events or live-streams.

Qualifications

- Experience in talk show hosting or co-hosting, with strong on-air presence and ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Skills in broadcast journalism and broadcasting, including show preparation, story development, and live presentation.
- Background in radio or audio-focused media environments, with familiarity in timing, pacing, and audience interaction.
- Strong interviewing skills, including preparing thoughtful questions, guiding conversations, and responding in real time.
- Excellent verbal communication and storytelling abilities, with confident and transparent delivery.
- Strong writing skills for scripts, segment introductions, social media posts, and promotional materials.
- Comfort with digital tools, remote recording setups, and social media platforms for show promotion and audience engagement.
- Ability to work collaboratively with production teams, meet deadlines, and adapt to live broadcasting demands.
- Previous experience in sports, entertainment, or pop culture media is an asset.
