Taxi Driver – Commission-Based

Friendly Taxi is preparing to launch taxi service in Fredericton, New Brunswick, and we are looking for reliable and professional Taxi Drivers to join our team.

This is a commission-based position — NOT an hourly-paid position.

Requirements

- Valid New Brunswick Class 4 driver's licence
- Valid taxi/vehicle permit required to operate as a taxi in Fredericton
- Valid commercial/taxi insurance and required documentation
- Clean and responsible driving record
- Skilled and courteous attitude toward passengers
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Good knowledge of Fredericton and surrounding areas
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers
- Previous taxi or commercial driving experience is an asset

Responsibilities
- Safely transport passengers to their destinations
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Follow all applicable taxi and transportation regulations




- Maintain the vehicle in a clean and presentable condition
- Handle customer requests and fares professionally
- Follow company dispatch and trip procedures
- Report any vehicle or customer issues to management

Compensation This is a commission-based position. There is NO hourly wage.

Drivers earn based on completed taxi trips/commission according to the company's compensation structure.
