Planned Perfectly is a linen and decor rental business in the wedding and events industry. We are hiring term positions for set up, late night tear down, and general labour. We are looking for someone who is a hard working problem solver, takes direction well, and is responsible.

Our event set up and tear downs can be fast paced and plans can change quickly. We are a close knit team and are looking for additional members who can keep up, show up with a positive attitude and be a reliable team member. You must have a valid drivers license and reliable vehicle to arrive at locations all times of the day.

Some Details about the position:

- Most shifts happen Thursday-Monday
- This includes shifts for event tear down that often starts are 1AM
- Hours vary depending on events booked each weekend
- Event set up and take downs including moving/removing chairs, chair covers, pipe, linens and heavy rentals. This is to be done with care.
- You will be at different venues around Winnipeg with potentially 2+ locations in a shift
- At set ups and take downs we see and work alongside other vendors, staff, and event goers. We must make sure to be accommodating, respectful, qualified, and presentable
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
- This job is a term position August 31, 2026 until November 30, 2026. Shifts depend on booked events and timelines

Duties + Experience





- Collaborate with team members to set up and tear down events
- Follow venue and company policy for dress, closed toed shoes, and act accordingly
- Listen to instruction including locations and timing, attention to details on how to keep products in top shape, count item lists and pay attention to additional details
- Move items (such as chairs, pipe and drape, charger plates, etc.) with care and consideration for the items and surrounding environment
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move throughout the shift comfortably
- Flexibility to work various shifts, mainly on weekends and late night
- Follow safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure environment for all
- A proactive attitude and prompt arrivals
- * Experience driving a truck and trailer is an asset

Pay: $17.00 per hour
