As a Child Care Educator, you'll play a crucial role in providing secure, engaging environments for children ages 4-12. This position involves planning program activities while ensuring compliance with YMCA policies and early childhood education standards. Ideal candidates will be nurturing individuals who are dedicated to child care and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan engaging, child-centered activities for ages 4-12
• Provide a safe, active, and inclusive environment
• Supervise children while adhering to regulatory standards
• Foster positive relationships with children and families
• Uphold YMCA core values in program delivery
Requirements:
• At least 18 years of age
• Experience with children in a caregiving capacity
• Valid First Aid & CPR Level C certification
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
• Authorization to work in Canada
