About the role

At Mobia Medical , we’re changing the future of stroke recovery through Vivistim® Paired VNS™ Therapy , the first FDA-approved vagus nerve stimulation therapy designed to improve hand and arm function for chronic stroke survivors.

As a Regional Director of Sales , you will lead a high-performing commercial team responsible for driving adoption of Vivistim across your region. You’ll coach and develop Territory Managers and Therapy Development Specialists while building sustainable referral networks, expanding Centers of Excellence, and partnering with healthcare providers to improve patient outcomes.

This is a highly strategic leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and enjoys building teams, developing markets, and launching innovative medical technologies.

What you’ll do

Lead and Develop High-Performing Teams

Recruit, hire, coach, and develop Territory Managers and Therapy Development Specialists

Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Provide ongoing field coaching, mentoring, and performance development

Build succession plans and develop future commercial leaders

Drive Regional Growth

Develop and execute regional business strategies aligned with corporate objectives

Build sustainable referral pathways and Centers of Excellence throughout the region

Identify new market opportunities and expand Vivistim adoption across health systems

Drive predictable patient pipeline development and accurate sales forecasting

Partner with cross-functional teams to accelerate regional growth

Build Vivistim Programs

Lead program development by connecting implanting physicians, rehabilitation providers, therapists, hospital administrators, and key stakeholders

Partner with Market Access and Therapy Development teams to optimize patient access





Support physician education and therapy adoption initiatives

Develop relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) across neurology, neurosurgery, PM&R;, rehabilitation, and therapy communities

Execute Commercial Excellence

Monitor regional performance through key metrics and business analytics

Develop strategic business plans, forecasts, and territory priorities

Share best practices across the commercial organization

Partner closely with Marketing, Sales Operations, Clinical, Market Access, R&D;, Finance, HR, and Executive Leadership to execute regional objectives

Support Innovation

Provide commercial insight to product development and lifecycle planning

Participate in clinical initiatives, post-market programs, and commercialization activities

Help shape future indications, market expansion strategies, and commercial best practices

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor’s degree required

15+ years of commercial experience within the medical device or healthcare industry

3+ years of successful sales leadership experience

Experience launching or commercializing Class III medical devices or other highly clinical technologies

Demonstrated success building programs and developing new markets

Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain top-performing commercial talent

Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment

Strong strategic planning, forecasting, and business analytics skills

Excellent communication, presentation,



and executive relationship-building abilities

Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Startup or high-growth commercial experience

Neuromodulation, neurovascular, stroke, rehabilitation, or other highly clinical medical device experience

Experience building physician referral networks and Centers of Excellence

Experience supporting clinical studies, product launches, or commercialization initiatives

Travel Requirements: Ability to travel domestically (75%) required.

The on-target earnings (OTE) for this position are $400,000 annually, comprised of a $175,000 base salary and $225,000 target commission opportunity.
