Technical Program Manager – Cloud Platform | 12-Month Contract | Hybrid Toronto

My client, a global leader in design and engineering software, is hiring a Technical Program Manager to drive a major cloud transformation within their Media & Entertainment division. Their tools power the studios and artists behind the films, shows, and games we all watch and play — and they're moving that ecosystem to a cloud platform built for media production at scale.

This is not a coordination role. You'll own complex program delivery end to end across engineering, product management, and UX design teams — outcome-driven planning, dependency management, risk identification, and stakeholder alignment from engineering leadership up to directors. You'll be expected to engage credibly in discussions around architecture, system design, and engineering trade-offs, and to take ownership of an active, quick-moving program within your first month.

What you'll bring

- 5-8 years in a technical program management capacity within technology or software, with 5+ years driving delivery in Agile environments
- Deep experience delivering programs involving cloud services, cloud platforms,



or distributed systems — this is the core requirement
- Enough technical depth to facilitate architecture and system design conversations with development managers, engineers, and product leaders — you drive technical discussions, you don't just schedule them
- Demonstrated experience creating executive presentations and program communications for stakeholders at multiple levels
- An operational excellence mindset: you improve workflows, build governance, and create structure, rather than just tracking status
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Strong assets:
- Experience in VFX, film/TV, gaming, animation, or content creation platforms — understanding the end users of this software is a genuine advantage
- PMP certification

Details:
- 12-month full-time contract
- Hybrid: 2 days per week onsite in downtown Toronto
- Pay: $52–$58/hour, T4 (no incorporated/corp-to-corp arrangements)
