Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service throughout their shopping experience
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process cash, credit, and digital payments
Handle cash handling procedures with precision, including giving correct change and balancing registers at shift end
Assist customers with product information, including product demos and upselling opportunities to enhance their purchase
Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure products are properly tagged and stocked
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure a seamless checkout process
Uphold store policies on phone etiquette, customer privacy, and safety protocols during all interactions
Experience
Previous retail sales or cashier experience preferred, especially in quick-paced environments
Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
Familiarity with POS systems and retail technology tools
Demonstrated organizational skills to manage time effectively during busy periods
Customer service experience that highlights patience, active listening, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to perform basic merchandising tasks and conduct product demos confidently
