Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a friendly, skilled manner
Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process transactions, including cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments
Manage cash handling procedures with precision, including giving correct change and balancing registers at shift end
Conduct product demos when applicable, highlighting features to encourage upselling and enhance customer engagement
Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure products are accurately priced and stocked
Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction
Support sales initiatives through effective communication of promotions and upselling techniques
Uphold store policies on phone etiquette, time management, and organizational standards to ensure a seamless shopping experience
Qualifications
Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred
Valuable communication skills in English
Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling accuracy
Ability to perform basic merchandising tasks
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in cash management and store presentation
Customer service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
