Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and assist them with their orders in a friendly, skilled manner
Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system, including Micros POS, to accurately process payments and handle cash transactions
Manage cash handling procedures with precision, ensuring correct change is given and transactions are recorded properly
Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the cashier area and dining space in accordance with food safety regulations
Support food preparation and food handling tasks as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction
Requirements
Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with serving and cashiering roles is a plus
Experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS or similar platforms
Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
