Join BCIT as a part time faculty member focused on 3D Modeling and Animation, specializing in Lighting and Rendering techniques. Engage students with your creative vision and technical expertise.

As part of BCIT’s School of Business + Media, you will teach a temporary, part time course on real-time rendering and its applications in 3D Animation. You'll contribute to student success by delivering exemplary instruction, mentorship, and adjusting curriculum to adhere to industry trends. This role combines teaching with a commitment to innovation and quality education.

Key Responsibilities:



• Develop and present comprehensive course content • Track and assess student achievements • Support an inclusive pedagogical approach to learning • Collaborate with team members on quality initiatives • Encourage student engagement and collaboration

Requirements: • Diploma or Degree in 3D Animation, Game Art, or related discipline • A minimum of 5 years lighting and rendering experience • Robust skills in Unreal Engine and real-time graphics • Proven ability to communicate complex concepts effectively • Teaching or mentoring experience preferred
