Join Cenovus as a Long-Term Planning Engineer, focusing on enhancing operational performance for major SAGD assets. Optimize maintenance programs and lead groundbreaking initiatives. In this pivotal role at Cenovus, you will lead the integrated Shutdown, Turnaround, and Outage programs for significant assets like Foster Creek or Christina Lake.

Your responsibilities include developing comprehensive five-year plans and budgets exceeding $100 million while ensuring production reliability and continuous improvement. Robust leadership and communication are essential as you influence cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities:
Manage integrated 5-year Turnaround and Maintenance plans
Develop models for production loss forecasting and decision-making




Collaborate with multiple teams to optimize maintenance objectives
Identify prospects for OPEX reduction and efficiency
Provide technical guidance to engineering teams

Requirements:
Minimum of 12 years in the oil and gas industry
Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a valid P.Eng. designation
Proficient in data analysis tools including Power BI
Robust ability to facilitate stakeholder engagement
Experience presenting to senior leadership
