Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the dental practice's daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a thorough understanding of dental procedures, and the ability to work effectively with both patients and staff in a quick-paced environment.

Duties
Assist dentists during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and surgeries.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or Epic software.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation of the practice.
Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and inventory management.




Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and procedures.

Requirements
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant; certification in Dental Assisting is preferred.
Familiarity with dental software systems such as Tracker.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Experience in pediatrics or orthodontics is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and staff.
Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
Proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) is an advantage.
