The Underwriting

Specialist role will be based in Montreal, focusing on the Quebec Region. You will leverage your experience in commercial casualty underwriting to generate business opportunities and manage client renewals for accounts over $300M. Proactively identify renewal and current account opportunities
Perform chance assessments with key distributors
Qualify accounts in alignment with the organization's appetite




Make meaningful contact with agents and clients
Close deals with negotiated terms and conditions Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent with 10+ years in Commercial Underwriting Support
Mandatory bilingual proficiency in French and English
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
Teamwork experience in a quick-paced environment
