Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Casual Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for residents and staff. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality and cleaning to contribute to a high-quality service experience.

The candidate will work on an as-needed basis, with shifts generally 8 hours in length. Shifts may vary based on operational needs and may include short-notice work, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Duties
Perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms, public areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
Ensure all areas meet established cleanliness standards and safety protocols
Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
Follow established procedures for industrial cleaning when necessary




Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in valuable condition
Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working workplace

Qualifications
Prior experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality is preferred
Solid attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and a professional attitude
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and reaching
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is advantageous
