Join West Vancouver as an Aquatic Leader I. This part time role oversees aquatic staff and supports pool operations while ensuring community safety and enjoyment.
The Community Services Department is looking for three dedicated Aquatic Leaders. You'll report to the Aquatic Program Coordinators and will be responsible for providing leadership, assisting with pool and lifeguard services, and addressing customer needs. A high school diploma and at least one year of aquatic experience are essential for applicants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and train aquatic staff effectively
• Assist with daily operations of the facility
• Provide administrative support to enhance efficiency
• Address customer service inquiries promptly
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational protocols
Requirements:
• Completed high school diploma
• At least one year of experience as lifeguard and instructor
• Familiarity with pool operations and staff supervisory roles
• Certification in Standard First Aid, CPR Level C, AED
• Additional knowledge of Activenet is a plus
