Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Cardiac Sonographer to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will perform high-quality echocardiographic imaging to assist in diagnosing and monitoring cardiac conditions. Your expertise will help provide accurate, timely information that supports effective patient care and treatment planning.
Duties
Operate ultrasound equipment to capture detailed images of the heart’s structures and function
Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort
Review and analyze echocardiographic images to identify abnormalities or issues
Maintain accurate records of procedures, findings, and patient information in accordance with healthcare standards
Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare team members to interpret results and determine next steps
Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and ready for use
Adhere strictly to safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and medical terminology standards
Experience
Proven experience as a Cardiac Sonographer or similar role in a clinical setting
Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
Proficiency with echocardiography equipment and related imaging software
Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and maintain meticulous documentation
