We are seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our paving and civil crews. Operators will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating one or more pieces of equipment while working closely with foremen and crew members to meet production and quality standards.
Previous experience operating one or more of the listed machines.

Strong understanding of paving and/or civil construction operations
Ability to work long hours in physically demanding conditions
Strong safety awareness and communication skills
Valid Class 5 driver’s license
Equipment tickets/certifications (asset)

Responsibilities
Operate one and/or more of the following: paver, roller, skid steer (bobcat), excavator, and/or milling machine
Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
Follow grade, slope, and paving specifications as directed
Work closely with the paving crew to maintain steady production
Ensure protected operation in accordance with company and WorkSafeBC regulations
Communicate effectively with ground crew and foreman
Assist with general labour tasks when required
Maintain a clean and safe work site
