Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Report Developer withstrong expertise in Microsoft Power BI, data modeling, reporting, and businessintelligence solutions. The successful candidate will support a variety ofreporting and analytics initiatives, helping stakeholders make data-drivendecisions through up-to-date reporting, visualization, and business intelligencecapabilities.

The consultant will work on multiple strategic reportingprojects while contributing to ongoing Power BI development initiatives andbusiness intelligence programs.

Key Responsibilities

CreatePower BI reports, dashboards, and data models.

Developand maintain business intelligence solutions.

Conductspecial assignments and sub-projects as required.

Assess,evaluate, and document stakeholder interests and business requirements.

Ensureadherence to established IT processes and standards.

Supportsystem testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Participatein knowledge transfer activities throughout the engagement.

Partnerwith business and technical stakeholders to understand reporting andanalytics needs.

Designand implement Power BI solutions that support operational and executivereporting.

DevelopPower BI reports and dashboards.

ConnectPower BI reports to multiple data sources.

Extract,transform, and load data using Power Query.

Profile,cleanse, and prepare data for reporting.

Designhigh-performing and maintainable data models.

Createintuitive report navigation and user-friendly report layouts.

Analyze,organize, and present complex datasets in a meaningful manner.





Required Skills & Experience

Provenexperience as a Microsoft Power BI Developer or Report Developer.

Extensiveexperience building Business Intelligence reports and dashboards.

Demonstratedexperience with:

PowerQuery

DAX

MLanguage

Experiencecreating compelling report designs and visualizations.

Experiencewith report performance tuning, including measures, relationships, andvisuals.

Experienceworking with Power BI datasets and refresh processes.

Experiencewith DirectQuery, Import mode, and related design considerations.

Data & Database Technologies

Strongexperience with SQL Server.

Experiencewith Power BI datasets.

Experienceworking with various database technologies.

Provenexpertise in data modeling and data visualization.

Knowledgeof data analysis and data management practices.

Demonstratedknowledge of:

Mandatory Requirements

Minimum5 years of relevant experience.

Abilityto obtain and maintain required security clearance as applicable.

Experiencedeveloping enterprise-level Power BI reporting and analytics solutions.

Provenexpertise with Power BI, SQL Server, Azure technologies, and datamodeling.

Knowledge Transfer

The successful consultant will participate in knowledgetransfer activities including:

Transferof completed deliverables.

Documentationof development processes and methodologies.

Transferof Power BI models and related artifacts.

Transferof source code and supporting technical documentation.

Participationin team meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions throughout the engagement.
