YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:
Repair, install, configure, and maintain VHF telecommunication installations such as:
-Motorola MotoTRBO System (Repeaters, Mobile and Portable Radios, VHF);
-Systems Management: Motorola Radio Manager, Becker Varis SmartCom.
Repair, install, configure and maintain LTE telecommunication installations such as: Nokia/Ericsson Private LTE, Ambra Solutions Private LTE;
Wi-Fi based systems such as: TeleOperation, Cisco, Aruba, Ubiquity, Rajant;
Escalation point for more complex telecom issues from, Electricians, Operations;
Provide technical support to internal clients;
Maintain diagrams and systems documentation;
Other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Community college program at least 2 years in length or equivalent in:
Telecommunications;
Wireless Systems Engineering;
Network Administration.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the telecommunications field with the following specific experience:
2+ years Becker Varis SmartCom;
2+ years LTE;
2+ years network administration.
Demonstrated deep knowledge of Radio Frequency Systems.
Excellent written and verbal skills in English;
Experience in an Underground Mining workplace is required;
Knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
Experience in a Mineral Processing Mill is an asset;
Knowledge of Fiber optic Systems is an asset.
Y OUR W O R K SCHEDULE:
Schedule: 7 days on and 7 days off at our Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, ON;
Occasional Travel to other mine sites.
Compensation Statement
In accordance with applicable legislation, the expected compensation includes base salary and potential bonus opportunity. Your individual pay will reflect your skills and experience while remaining competitive within the local market.
