The Opportunity As a Coater , you will play a critical role in preparing, blasting, and applying protective coatings to steel pipe, structural components, and fabricated products. Your expertise will help ensure our products meet the highest standards of durability, appearance, and quality.
What You'll Do Prepare surfaces for coating through cleaning, blasting, masking, and inspection
Apply industrial coatings,



including epoxies, urethanes, zinc-rich coatings, and specialty finishes
Read and interpret coating specifications, technical data sheets, and work instructions
Mix and prepare coating materials according to manufacturer specifications
Operate industrial coating equipment and spray systems safely and efficiently
Perform quality checks to ensure coating thickness, finish quality, and compliance with project requirements
Complete production documentation and quality records accurately
Work closely with production and quality teams to meet project deadlines
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
What You Bring Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of industrial painting and coating experience
Proven experience with: Sandblasting and surface preparation
Epoxy coatings
Polyurethane coatings
Zinc coating systems

Strong understanding of coating application processes and quality requirements
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Intermediate computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
Assets That Will Set You Apart NACE, AMPP, or equivalent coating certification
Experience operating: King pumps (45:1 and higher)
Conventional and pressure pot systems
Cup guns
Graco XM 70 plural component systems
HPX3 spray equipment

Experience working in structural steel, fabrication, manufacturing, oil & gas, or industrial environments
Experience working around large fabrication equipment, hot/cold bending operations, and confined spaces
